Description

Dung Waterfall (Standing Waterfall) is a unique tectonic nature, bold nature, and one of the beautiful waterfalls of Binh Phuoc province. The waterfall is located on the stream of Dakkwoa stream, located in Doan Ket commune and Minh Hung commune, Bu Dang district.

The waterfall is about 4-6m high, about 10m wide, flowing through the rock floor with many hexagonal stones stacked on top of each other, with large cylindrical stone pillars naturally spun together to form a vertical wall, perhaps the name comes from that trait.

Amid the immense green of the forest and milpa, a few hundred meters from the waterfall visitors can hear the sound of the waterfall flowing. Although the waterfall is not high, there is a strong flow, rushing down the rocks below, launching layers of steam mist.

Especially in the rainy season, the waterfall exude a mighty, rolling stream of heavy sediment, the sound of it echoes over a corner of the forest. But in the dry season, the waterfall looks more peaceful, steadily pouring down the white water, winding around the rocks.

At the foot of the waterfall, there are many large and small rocks, undulating along the Dakkwoa stream stretching like endless. On both sides of the shore are lawns, ancient tree canopy shading, scattered spots of orchids, or tiny blooms of blooming wild flowers ... These rocks neither line up nor follow a certain order, but they are a bridge for visitors to cross the shore in the season of light water.

In addition, the waterfall area is also a place where indigenous people of S’Tieng often choose to be a venue for festivals and community activities. In early 2014, Dung Waterfall was ranked provincial landscapes by the People's Committee of Binh Phuoc Province
